Welcome to New CN Gunn Staff
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As we start the new year, I am delighted to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome to new staff in our growing school community.
I believe our new staff will be as dedicated and passionate as our continuing staff and will play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of your children. Each of them brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and enthusiasm to our school, and I am confident that they will contribute significantly to the holistic development of our students.
As we ended our year in June, we were able to confirm the following teachers from temporary positions into continuing contracts. We are excited they were able to stay with us.
- Kayma Coulombe- New Learning Leader and Grade 3-4 Teacher
- Carly Barton - Grade 1-2 Teacher
Please also join me in extending a warm welcome to our new teachers who are joining us for the first time:
- Averie Miller - Grade 3-4 Teacher
- Kristen Wagner - Grade 3-4 Teacher
- Matthew Finch - Grade 5 Teacher
- Jasika Khosla - Grade 6 Teacher
- Ashlee Wong- Grade 1-2 Teacher
Over the summer we also had to say goodbye to Ms. Langell as she unexpectedly adventured into her retirement. As we begin the new year, we would also like to welcome the following support staff members to our team:
- Sumaira Ansar - Early Childhood Practitioner
- Shauna Traub - Educational Assistant
- Cecelia Price- Lunchroom Supervisor
We believe that a strong partnership between the school and parents is essential for the academic and personal growth of our students. Our dedicated staff is committed to fostering this partnership, ensuring that your children receive the best education possible in a nurturing and supportive environment. We are a community bound by a shared commitment to the well-being and success of our students.
Once again, a warm welcome to our new staff members. Please feel free to reach out to me or our school staff if you have any questions or require assistance. We are here to support you and your child's educational journey every step of the way.
Wishing you a wonderful and successful academic year ahead!
Warmest Regards,
