Winter Preparation Fair

Whether you're new to the city or a long-time resident, this in-person event is the perfect opportunity to discover all of the essentials of being prepared for the winter and the exciting happenings during the chilly season.

Meet community organizations and service providers who will be sharing valuable information about winter preparedness, programs, tools, and resources in Calgary on the following topics:

Clear snow from roadways and sidewalks to help yourself and others travel or commute safely in cold weather.
Prepare your home and car for the winter conditions.
Know what to do when your car is stuck in cold weather.
Avoid cold-related illness and injury for your family’s health and safety.
Understand emotional challenges during the winter.
Access clothing, food, shelter and transportation when needed.
Explore winter activities, and
Know who to contact during emergencies.

Money Management and Financial Planning

Come and learn about debt, consumerism, assets, budgeting and credit from a financial expert!
When: Thursday nights from February 1 to March 7
Time: 5 PM to 7 PM
