Spring Celebration of Learning – Date Changed to May 8

We have had to change the date for our upcoming Spring Celebration of Learning.  It was originally scheduled for April 24 but has been moved to May 8 from 6:00 to 7:30. We hope that you will be able to join us in celebrating some of the fabulous learning that has been happening at our school. Watch for more details to follow.

Student Safety

Parents are reminded that students are not to be dropped off in the staff parking lot.  The visitor parking lot loop can be used as a drop off zone.  We would also like to remind parents to be considerate of our school neighbours by following the bylaws that are in place.  This includes only parking in assigned areas.  Please do not park in the alley behind garages. Please also remind students to travel to and from school safely.  This includes not walking on the roadways and parking lots and only crossing roads at crosswalks.   We want to ensure that all of our students are safe while also being good neighbours.

Bus Students

Parents of students who ride the bus, please help us to keep your children safe on the bus. We have had to have a number of conversations with bus students recently. Please help us by reminding your children of the expectations while riding the bus.  This includes:

  • Remain seated
  • Keep hands and feet clear from the aisles
  • No eating
  • Use quiet voices
  • No garbage should be left on the bus

Before High School graduation, one-third of adolescent girls will experience depression, anxiety disorders, self-harm or an eating disorder. At Juno House®, we believe in the extraordinary healing power of parents, caregivers, coaches, and teachers. In our 1.5 hour workshop presentation, we will share steps and strategies from the Juno House Therapeutic Model® that will provide effective emotional coaching tools for today’s youth as they develop through adolescence and into young adulthood.
