Updates and Information
Staff Parking Lot
Loading and unloading of students in the staff parking lot is prohibited.
You may have noticed a visit from Calgary Police this week to help guide parents through the visitor parking lot. We have had unsafe situations in the staff parking area including speed of vehicles, students running out from behind vehicles.
We are currently getting help from CBE Facilities with more signage.
Please ensure you are following this route for student drop off in the morning:
Fridays Are Important Too
We have noticed a drop in student attendance on Fridays. While many students attend on Fridays, more often then not, student attendance concerns happen mostly because we aren’t seeing children in classes on Fridays.
If students miss every Friday in the school year, they will miss 15 full school days in a year. If you add that up over their years in school- that could be a full year of learning lost.
We still do important learning activities and tasks on Fridays too. Please send your children to school that day too!
