Welcome back CN Gunn families!

We hope all of you had a great summer and children were outside playing lots. We are excited to welcome them back into our classrooms!

This email will give you some important infor.ation about our starting days here at Catherine Nichols Gunn. 

Registration 

If your family has moved and not attending Catherine Nichols Gunn for this school year, please respond to this email to let us know who your children are and where they are planning to attend school for the coming year. 

If you are receiving this email, your child(ren) are registered with us for the 2023-2024 school year. If you believe you should be registered somewhere else, please check your MyCBE account as you might have some required documentation or other questions to answer. 

First Days of School

Our school hours this year are:

Please ensure your children arrive at the school by 8:15 am to have time to get into the school when the bell rings. 

Breakfast Club will be continuing this year. Students can enter through the main doors after 7:50 am. 

Homeroom

Students will hear from their homeroom teachers this week to welcome to the homeroom teachers' classes. Much time and effort are given to ensure class balance including student complex needs, student friendships, and class dynamics. We do not change student homeroom so as to avoid disrupting a carefully crafted class composition.
