Updates and Information

NEW | Practicing our Norms and Manners

Each week, we will be focusing on specific norms and manners in our school. This will be included here to support children at home.

This week our focus will be: Caring for our Spaces.

Students will be asked to:

  • Keep their backpacks zipped up
  • We do boomerang lunches- children should be taking all of their items home with them when unfinished. (see attached information poster)
  • Only wear inside shoes inside the school.
  • Line up shoes and coats so everyone can see their own items clearly.
  • Make sure we put all garbage in the appropriate bins.
  • Prevent lost and found, by labelling our items and scanning for our items before we leave a space.

NEW | Lost and Found Section

As part of our efforts to keep our spaces clean, we will be only keeping lost and found items out for one week. The items will be kept on display for one week in the office and then put out for display at parent events (conferences, celebrations, etc.) after which, items will be donated. You will see a picture each week in our update for you to scan as well. Please have your child come to the office to pick up their item if you recognize something.

While we make every effort to return items to their rightful owners, items that haven't been labelled risk being claimed by other people. While this is likely never intentional, this can happen as kids tend to love the same things. We encourage families to label their children's items.
